ENCONSEL 2018 was an event that produced a wealth of valuable knowledge for electric sector professionals. Useall was there! We have put together the 4 topics that stood out at ENCONSEL 2018, along with commentary on the Useall team's work regarding the impact these topics have on our solutions, as well as on the work processes of professionals at power generation, transmission, and distribution companies.

TOPIC #1 - ASSET COMMITTEE
ANEEL is constantly refining its oversight and monitoring of how CA, COM, and UAR costs are formed. The event featured discussions and guidance to help agents improve their processes.
As a developer of software for electric sector companies, Useall keeps a close eye on this landscape. The automated methodology in our construction projects module is one example.
The system allocates CA* and COM* costs across the orders and assets to be unitized according to the project designed by the technical area, thereby ensuring greater precision in forming fixed asset costs and allocating amounts to O&M*. This method also ensures reconciliation of the BDGD* with the RCP.
About the acronyms:
*CA – Additional costs
*COM – Minor components
*O&M – Operation and maintenance
*BDGD – Distributor Geographic Database
TOPIC #2 - NF3-e – THE ELECTRONIC ELECTRICITY INVOICE
Intended to replace the document issued today by electricity distribution companies, the NF3-e is in the study phase, awaiting the final definitions from the competent authorities.
Useall is following this process closely. We are preparing to equip our systems with the resources needed to meet this new piece of legislation safely.
TOPIC #3 - ICMS ON SUBSIDIES
As for this ICMS (state VAT) on subsidies, the taxation decision rests with each state of the federation — in other words, some already tax it, others do not.
Regardless, our solutions support all the approaches covered in the discussion of this topic through configuration options available in the Billing system.
TOPIC #4 - ANEEL SUSTAINABILITY INDICATORS
Sustainability indicators appear in concessionaires' contracts as a condition for extending and maintaining distribution service contracts. But well beyond that, they are important tools for managing the company, enabling deployment and integration between the distributor's operations and management areas.
Useall's indicators solution will meet this need for distributors.
We are preparing a series of content pieces to show you all these adaptations of Useall solutions to the parameters defined by ANEEL.
