DECREE
On Monday night (the 23rd), the Government of Santa Catarina published in the State Official Gazette (DOE) a new decree extending the coronavirus quarantine by another seven days. The document took effect yesterday (Wednesday, the 25th) — which means Useall support remains in home office mode.
We hope working from home over the coming days continues to be very productive, and that we can focus on good things to take our minds off all the pressure the world is going through.
EMPATHY AMID THE CHAOS
One of our customers, Brasil ao Cubo, from Tubarão, is coordinating a project that will include 100 beds and be delivered in record time: a treatment center for the new coronavirus for a hospital in São Paulo.
"... will help fight the new coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic in the country. The company is building a treatment center for patients infected with the disease in the São Paulo state capital. To do so, it is joining forces with major partners: Ambev, Gerdau, the City of São Paulo, and Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein. There will be 100 standard beds serving patients exclusively through SUS (Brazil's public health system)."

A TIME WHEN BIG BRANDS UNITE FOR THE COMMON GOOD
This project is not a field hospital like the ones being built elsewhere. After the pandemic, the unit will be handed over to the City of São Paulo and will join the city's public health network. Work on the new site began on Tuesday (the 24th), and the first beds are expected to be delivered within 20 days — the rest by April 30. The project costs R$ 10 million.
